If you complete the Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning degree program in five sequential blocks, tuition is guaranteed not to increase during your program.*

Tuition for the Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning program is charged per credit hour along with a materials fee for each block, and additional university-related fees.

  • $380 per credit (6 credits per block)
  • $220 materials fee per block (The mandatory materials fee does not include tax, shipping or handling.)
  • $750 Student Services fee paid over the course of the program in 4 payments of $187.50 each.

Refund Policy

Students who withdraw their registration by the start of class are entitled to a full tuition refund. Application fees are not refundable. After the start of the block, students who withdraw will receive a prorated tuition refund. Materials fees are refundable if program materials are returned unused, in the original packaging. A return authorization is required for all returned materials.

Financial Aid

NSU's Office of Student Financial Aid administers federal, state, institutional, and private financial aid programs. For assistance with financial aid, students should contact the Financial Aid Office at 800-806-3680. Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning degree program applicants seeking federal financial assistance need to fill out the NSU Application for Student Aid, which can be downloaded at www.nova.edu/cwis/finaid/. They also need to fill out a FAFSA form at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Nova Southeastern University's Federal School Code is 001509.

Procedure to Apply for Financial Aid:
  • You must first have officially applied for admission to the Nova Southeastern University Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning Program. Federal student loans cannot be processed until the student is officially admitted to the program.
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and send it to the address stated in the application.
  • Once your FAFSA document has been processed, Nova Southeastern University will contact you regarding the remaining steps in the financial aid process.
  • Be sure to indicate NSU and the university's Title IV School Code (001509) and address (3301 College Ave, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33329) in step five of the FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA.
  • You must re-apply for financial aid each academic year by July 1st.
